Hughes Hubbard Reps Wipro in $40M Applied Value Technologies Acquisition
December 2024 – The firm advised Wipro on its $40 million acquisition of U.S.-based IT services consulting firm Applied Value Technologies.
The deal closed on Dec. 16.
Founded in 1945, Wipro is India's fourth-largest information technology services firm. It provides cloud computing, computer security, artificial intelligence and other technology consulting services to customers in 167 countries.
Based in Massachusetts with offices in Singapore and the Netherlands, Applied Value Technologies offers enterprise application development and support services globally.
Chuck Samuelson led the Hughes Hubbard team with significant assistance from Don Casey and Anders Seah. Other members of the team include Patrice Jean, Alan Kravitz, Charlie Wachsstock, Erin DeCecchis, Sean Reilly, Sabrina Silverberg and Alexis Rosett.
