Taylor, Katherine

Katherine Taylor is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Washington, D.C. office in the Litigation department. Her diverse litigation practice includes representing clients in securities enforcement and litigation matters and shareholder suits. In addition, as a member of the firm’s Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice, she focuses primarily on matters involving general internal investigations and anti-corruption and compliance matters.

Katherine also has a wide-ranging pro bono portfolio, which includes a criminal resentencing action, several asylum immigration cases, and working to address gun violence within the District of Columbia. Before joining the firm, Katherine was a Law Intern in the Civil Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, where she drafted memoranda on complex discovery issues regarding proportionality, cost-shifting, and the duty to supplement document production. Prior to attending law school Katherine was both an Administrative Assistant and Project Assistant for the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Health Project. Additionally, she was an Office of Presidential Scheduling & Advance Intern in the Executive Office of the President.
