Cynthia Teyssou Ramiro is an associate in Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Paris office and a member of the firm’s Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice group. 

Cynthia mainly assists clients in the energy, luxury, construction and retail sectors with matters involving anti-corruption laws and human rights compliance, including the design and implementation of compliance programs, conducting compliance reviews, third-party due diligence, as well as corruption and human rights risk mappings. She also assists clients with audits carried out by the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA). In addition, Cynthia provided in-house legal advice during a secondment to the anticorruption compliance department of a multinational energy company.

Prior to joining the firm, Cynthia was an intern at Hughes Hubbard & Reed in the Global Investigations, Enforcement and Compliance practice group. She also interned at an international energy group in the Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Compliance division and was a trainee lawyer at law firms in Paris and Madrid in the areas of business law.
