Carter Rosekrans is an associate in Hughes Hubbard’s Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department within the Arbitration practice group.

Carter has expertise in arbitral award enforcement actions, supporting both award creditors and award debtors in actions before U.S. District and Appellate Courts. Carter also has experience as arbitral counsel to companies and individuals in various domestic and international arbitral forums, including proceedings under the AAA, ICDR, JAMS, ICSID, ICC, and UNCITRAL Rules.

Carter also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representation of individual visa and asylum applicants, as well as policy research on both gun violence and domestic violence. Carter is a co-chair of DC Appleseed’s Emerging Leaders Network.

Prior to attending law school, he was a consultant to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), under a long-term contract to manage all aspects of the DOJ’s spent nuclear fuel contract litigation. Carter was also a legal intern for the DOJ, National Courts Section before joining the firm, where he primarily worked on defensive trade remedy litigation.
