Neil Oxford has been appointed to the International Committee for the Law Society of Scotland.
The International Committee has been set up to oversee the development and implementation of the Society’s new international strategy, trade policy and engagement as they relate to the legal profession and sector.
The committee’s first meeting had a clear focus on bringing members up to speed with the Society’s current international work, issues ongoing since Brexit, and opportunities to maximize engagement with international matters both within and outside of the UK.
Established in 1949, the Law Society of Scotland is the professional body for over 13,000 Scottish solicitors with the shared objectives of leading legal excellence, remaining a world-class professional body, and understanding and serving the needs of their members and the public.
